This course is designed to acquaint students interested in entering the medical fields with the science of medicine, healthcare delivery systems and the ethical framework that supports them. There will also be focus on medical terminology as it relates to the medical profession, healthy physiology and disease processes. Critical review of current medical literature will assist in understanding evidence-based medicine. Fall, Spring.
