This course is designed to build confidence in oral skills by applying the principles of effective presentations in various situations. Students gain experience with formal speaking, group interaction, and performance appraisal. Non-verbal communication, listening skills, and the use of technology such as Power Point presentations are discussed in conjunction with methods of oral delivery. Prerequisite: Sophomore Status.
