Emphasis is placed on developing hands-on clinical skills, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. The course underscores the Physician Assistant's role in preventing medical errors and promoting safe, evidence-based care throughout all phases of clinical procedures. Students will also demonstrate proficiency in skills required for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification and compliance.
