This is a one-semester two-credit lab course for Biology or Health Sciences majors and/or Biology minors which aims to reinforce and strengthen students’ laboratory skills. Laboratory work stresses the development of technical and analytical skills, equipment usage, laboratory/experimental troubleshooting and data analysis. This course is the capstone course for the Biotechnology Lab Skills Certificate. The course will meet for three hours a week. Prerequisites for this course include: BI211, BI319 or BI325, CH312 and CH321; one of the prerequisite courses may be taken concurrently with BI470.
